Project 2: Building Team
The Brief:
in short, basically this assignment was about to ask students to interview their selected profession by identifying their specific roles and then gathering all the information to produce a magazine.
We were formed in a group of 5 with the selected profession which was Civil Engineering. We interviewed Ir. Kong from Perunding Rekacekap Sdn. Bhd. and had a great time with him.
The Interview Video:
Before we interviewed him, we had figured out questions as to avoid embarrasing moment. We were all fully-prepared so that the interview session can move on smoothly. Ir. Kong was friendly as he spared his time from his busy schedule and answered all the questions patiently.
The magazine:
After we gathered all the information, we were then analysed and interpret the information so that it looked organise and proper. We tried our best to make it a professional look, and for me the final outcome was totally up to my expectation.
Reflection:
I have learnt to explain and illustrate structures of organizations and the team involved in the construction industry. I also can explain the roles and responsibilities of the entities touching briefly the legal and contractual procedures and impact. I realise it is important to have the ability to document their observations and understanding from interview session and research resources as well as to communicate in a systematic and convincing booklet. Moreover, I find out that teamwork is always the priority in succeeding a task, Thanks to my beloved group members, Alwin Ng, Adele Lu, Chloe Teh and Cryslyn Tan.
