PROJECT 1: MUSICAL PERFORMANCE
The Brief:
This was my first CTS assignment that given by Ms. Shazreene, our CTS lecturer. This assignment composed of two sections which were the individual task and group work. Basically, this assignment was to identify students' critical thinking skill and also their generation of ideas.
We were formed into a group of 10 or 11. Each of us were required to produce a musical instrument by using recycable materials. Then we had to collaborate with each other to do a performance based on the selected genre. We had chosen " The Beatles" which meant we had to perform the songs from the beatles. It sounded interesting yet enjoyable, but it actually difficult than you can think of.
Individual Task:
After a session of self-brainstorming, I was considering the type of recycable materials for making my musical instrument. The finalised material was soya milk bottle. The reason of using the glass bottle was due to the responsibility of creating the rhythm and melody of the song.

Reflection:
I have learnt that collaboration with group members is a vital element to succeed a project. I also notice that effective communication among members can help to enhance the work progress. Also, I know that last minute effort cannot produce good work. Practice makes perfect, so we keep on practising a week before the performance day. I have learnt that applying practical, critical and creative thinking skill is crucial in every assignments.
