PROJECT 1: TIMELINE AND DIAGRAM ANALYSIS
For the first project of Architecture Culture and History II, students were required to undertake a research analysis process on the Modern Malaysian architecture of Kuala Lumpur and to produce an illustrative chronology poster that interprets the Modern Malaysian Architectural language and architecture influences to the architectural development of Malaysia in particular. This research project adopts document analysis methodology that involves documenting, analyzing, producing, and a critical chronological and diagrammatic interpretation of Modern Malaysian architectural history.

REFLECTION:
Throughout the project, I am able to analyze and discuss the relationship of the Modern Architecture of Malaysia with social, cultural, environmental and intellectual context of Malaysian architecture post Independence. I also can differentiate the way in which many varied factors contribute to the development of Modern Malaysian Architecture. I learn to produce a diagrammatic analysis illustratively and in text, a critical chronology analysis interpretation of Modern Malaysian architecture. Last but no least, I learn to work in a big group without having issues in communication.
