This was the first project that introduced to students in B.Con 1. The aim of this project is to allow the students to understand that the design process is ongoing from conceptual design stage right through to construction. Our task is to select an ongoing construction site which visibly demonstrates most of the subject topics covered in the syllabus. The site should be medium rise or low rise buildings of maximum 4-storey high. Students are required to identify different types of building elements and its construction process, details and materials. Later, students need to study and record construction of different building elements and specifically to show the details of the building construction drawings which will reflect our understanding of the construction. The site that we have chosen is D' Altos, situated at Sungai Long.
